All organisations have an impact on the environment and produce some form of waste which has the potential to cause pollution.

Morrison takes a holistic approach to waste management across our operations and the clients we work with. Our policy of waste management starts with fundamental measures and continues right through to adopting polices with our trading partners under the ISO 14001 accreditation. We begin at the basics: This involves running bin-less offices, to how we deliver services such optimising our ordering process and recycling where possible.

Part of our policy is to work with supply partners that are waste aware, and reduce our consumption and supply of packaging.

Morrison minimizes its environmental impact by disposing of waste sustainably and, where possible, recycling.

All of our property management services comply with the latest environmental legislation. This includes preventing pollution and the safe handling and management of waste. Morrison also has programmes in place, which govern the safe storage, use and disposal of hazardous waste and liquid waste.

We also cut costs because we can use raw materials more efficiently and reduce the amount of waste we produce.
